UBIFRANCE invites French companies to promote their know-how at an event which is internationally recognised in the field of maritime research. Around 45% of the visitors who attend the exhibition are company heads and the event attracts specialists in marine environment and oceanographic equipment. France enjoys a high level of expertise in this field, and UBIFRANCE will be seeking to ensure that this expertise reaches a wider audience. 	ACRI
		ACRI-ST is an independent company of highly skilled and innovative scientists and engineers based in Sophia-Antipolis, France. ACRI-ST and its majority-owned affiliate ARGANS Limited, based in Plymouth (United Kingdom), have deep experience with respect to Earth Observation and the Environment in the following fields: • remote sensing • theoretical and numerical fluid dynamics • ocean/atmosphere modelling

	ACSA Underwater GPS
		Description : ACSA is a high-tech company, specialized in underwater applications of GPS. As system architect and underwater positioning expert, ACSA developed the GIB (“GPS Intelligent Buoys”) systems. They are the first and only systems to offer true real-time D-GPS underwater tracking. ACSA develops underwater robots (gliders …) oriented towards supervised concepts.

	BMTI (Bilbo Marine Technique)
		Description : Since 25 years, BMTI designs, studies, engineers and achieve composite materials pieces and Syntactic foam blocks for oceanography, offshore oil, industry and naval defence. BMTI has a broad range of pure syntactic foam products from 1000 to 8000m.

	CESIGMA Signals & Systems
		Description : CESIGMA: Systems Analysis, Modelisation and Signal Processing Center CeSigma wants to be an Operational Research Center in Information, Signal and images Processing, Electronic and Systems Integration. Cesigma is composed of a dynamic team of researchers -engineers who come from university research laboratories, French Naval Research Center and high-tech industries. CS: CS is firmly positioned at the top of its industry, ranking first in France for industrial and critical applications and third in computing infrastructure services, according to PAC. We assist our customers over the long term by providing solutions that are ideally suited to their needs and resources. Managing large and complex projects, 70% of our work involves projects that span several years.

	CHRISAR SOFTWARE Technologies
		Description : CHRISAR is specialized in the development of software systems for survey and protection of marine mammals. CHRISAR presents 2 products at OI08: • CHRISAR-LAB is software designed for real-time and deferred-time analysis of all kind of marine mammals. • REPCET (Real-time Plotting of Cetacean) is a collaborative system which aims at decreasing the risks of collision between large whales and merchant ships.

	CREOCEAN
		Description : CREOCEAN is a French consulting agency in coastal and marine environment and in oceanography employing 45 persons of whom 30 environmental specialists in all marine fields. Thanks to specific competences and available tools (measurements at sea, GIS, cartography, models…), CREOCEAN is the first French independent company, exclusively dedicated to coastal and marine environment. 	IFREMER
		Description : Ifremer, the French research institute for the exploitation of the sea, is a public institute of both industrial and commercial vocation. It undertakes finalized research in all marine fields and develops technology and equipment for sea exploration. At Oceanology International 2008, we shall be presenting Ifremer’s: • vessels and underwater systems (ROV, AUV,…), • products developed in partnership with industrials (floats, buoys,…), • testing facilities (free access for some research teams through European Specific Support Action project), • monitoring tools (sensors, analysers,…), • softwares available for sale.

	IN VIVO ENVIRONNEMENT
		Description : IN VIVO is specialised in marine environment and oceanography • Technical and scientific surveys: marine, coastal and aquatic surveys, environmental monitoring, environmental impact assessments (dredging, marine granulates, harbour), coastal erosion control, offshore wind-turbines, artificial reefs… • Management plans: Natura 2000, Sediment quality, green algae bloom control… IN VIVO has a fleet of ships, sampling tools, acoustic imagery devices, equipments for physical measurements and a staff of professional scientific divers.

	KLEY France
		Description : Established in 1955, KLEY FRANCE is today a major actor in the business of winches and handling systems in military, oceanographic and offshore fields. As far as Oceanography is concerned, our main product line includes : • Deep sea «annular traction winch», specially developed for handling of synthetic ropes (including electromechanical and FO). This winch, installed on various Research Vessels, features outstanding performances thanks to its unique design, continuously improved through R&D activity and shared experience • Integrated A-frames and submersible deployment systems (LARS) • Deep sea CTD winches fitted with slip rings and electro-mechanical ropes • Deployment systems for sub hull transducers

	LAPP MULLER SAS
		Description : Founded in 1939 by M. Jean Muller, the Muller et Landais company used to make electric cables for the construction industry. Then the company quickly turned to the manufacture of specially designed electrical cables and more specifically to moving and composite cables. In 1980, the firm became MULLER SA.
