	Der Pôle Européen de Plasturgie in der Region Rhône-Alpes im Herzen des Plastics Vallée ist eine einzigartige Anlage für Forschung, Entwicklung und technologische Unterstützung in der Kunststoffbranche. 	Created on 12 July 2005, PLASTIPOLIS accounts for one-third of business in France’s plastics industry and is its sole competitiveness cluster. All the players in the industry are present at France’s plastics industry competitiveness cluster: 20 R&D centres, 15 training centres, more than 120 companies… In addition, PLASTIPOLIS is developing exchanges and cooperations with various national, European and international clusters.
	Das am 12. Juli 2005 geschaffene Kompetenzzentrum PLASTIPOLIS beinhaltet 1/3 der Kunststoffindustrie Frankreichs. Als einziger französischer Kunststoffcluster umfasst er alle Akteure der Branche: 20 F&E-Zentren, 15 Ausbildungszentren, mehr als 120 Unternehmen… PLASTIPOLIS entwickelt derzeit Netze und Kooperationen mit mehreren französischen, europäischen und internationalen Clustern.

	Plastics Vallée in Frankreich inmitten der Arbeitsmarktregion von Oyonnax in der Nähe von Lyon, der Schweiz, Italiens und Deutschlands liegt im Herzen des Kompetenzzentrums der französischen Kunststoffverarbeitung. Alle Berufe der Branche sind hier vertreten: Entwurf und Herstellung von Maschinen, Konstruktionsbüros, Konzeption von Werkzeugen, Verarbeitung, Dekoration, Logistik… Das Plastics Vallée arbeitet auf allen Märkten der Kunststoffherstellung: technische Teile für die Automobilindustrie, Elektronik, Büromaterial, Haushaltselektrogeräte… Elemente für das Baugewerbe, Gartenmöbel, Verpackungen, Brillen, Haarschmuck, Spielwaren… Mehrere Ausbildungsstätten sowie Forschungs- und Entwicklungszentren tragen zur Leistungsfähigkeit der hier niedergelassenen Unternehmen bei: das Gymnasium „Lycée Arbez Carme“, der „Pôle Européen de Plasturgie“ (Europäischer Pol für Plastikverarbeitung), die „Ecole d’ingénieur Insa Plasturgie“ (Ingenieurschule).
